Summer Feel-Fresh Tip

I recently discovered Home Health’s Lavender Water at a local health food store, and it’s my new favorite summer product. You know how I’ve mentioned spritzing our sheets with lavender water every night before getting into bed? Well, now I spritz myself with it, too – it’s such a great way to cool off and wind down before bedtime. And at just over six bucks for a bottle, you can feel free to douse yourself in gallons of the stuff all season long; you can even wear it during the day as a light perfume.

If you’re in the mood for a little DIY project, go HERE to learn how to make it yourself.

This is a great idea—I heart lavender. I bought lavender sea-salt and lavender pepper at a farmer’s market recently. I put lavender sugar in my tea. And I have just started rubbing lavender baby oil all over when I get out of the shower (makes me and the towels smell very nice). I’m realizing now I might have a little obsession. There are worse things to be obsessed with I suppose . . .

I can’t find a good online source to buy it from (I get it at farmer’s markets), but here’s a recepie (for lavender sugar that is): http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/recipes/2367

And here’s a great Earl Grey Lavender tea: http://www.revolutiontea.com/search/?search=bla…

Okay I’ll stop. Backing away from the lavender . . .
