Speaking of Footwear…

While packing for Parisa’s wedding, I realized that I own many summer outfits and very few pairs of summer shoes. This, fortunately, is a problem that is easily remedied. When I stopped by the Steve Madden store on the way home from the East Village on Thursday, I fell in love with these two pairs:

These Tuscaans are only $89, and I think they would go with pretty much everything in my closet. Cons: the gold looks just a weeee bit chintzy, and they may be just a touch too clunky to pair with little summer dresses (although I personally like the look of tiny outfits and enormous heels).

The Roady boot ($199) is much, much, much cuter in person than it is in this shot – just trust me on that one. It even has an awesome exposed red seam around the zipper that runs up the back. I know these aren’t particularly seasonal…but I still regret not buying them last winter, and I think they’d look adorable with cutoffs and a simple t-shirt. But they’re sort of expensive. But I love them. But they’re knee-high boots. But I’d wear them all year ’round. See my conundrum?

Thoughts? Help me make my next shoe purchase!

I love the Roady boot. I have the Steve Madden Intyce knee-high boots, which are similar in style but not as cool, and I absolutely love them. I've had them re-heeled twice, I just can't let them go. You should go for it! (And I'm not SM's biggest fan, so I don't say this lightly, ha)

I've found some awesome pairs of sandals/wedges at Aldo this spring, all for less that $100. I just bought these: http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/pumps/peep-to…

I'd say get them both. You could totally pull off boots in the summer.

I have these boots, LOVE them, but they are a bit uncomfortable the 1st couple of times you wear them…
