When Green Stuff Is Good

I have a total knee-jerk aversion to green juice.

It can be traced back to my cleansing experiment, where I gave BluePrint Cleanse a test-run with not-so-hot results. (If you’re a newer reader and missed it, here’s why I decided to try doing a cleanse despite the fact that I very much do not believe in cleanses…and here were my results – hint: the post is titled “F This”).

Anyway, green juices and green juice-related things have freaked me out ever since.

But this? Is really delicious. So delicious that I sort of wish that it was less delicious, because I’ve started adding a small glass to my breakfast every day to get some extra vitamins in, and I think if it tasted just a little bit worse I’d feel even fancier about it.

Green machine is my favourite one! It looks so odd (once I was buying some in a gas station I frequent, and the cashier just looked at it and said “nope….no…..no way. too healthy.”) but it tastes so good! And apparently it’s great for babies too. During this gas station run-in, a woman behind me said that her 10-month-old drinks it all the time and loves it.

I always consider trying these when I see them in the grocery store but for some reason opt for orange juice or something instead. I’m glad to hear that they’re delicious and I’ll definitely be trying them next time. I love that the bottle says “looks weird, tastes amazing.”  :)
