At SPiN with Rachael and Matt’s hand. Before hitting the ping-pong tables, we had dinner at Ducks (whoa, are the Korean tacos ever excellent – and, at $9.50, very reasonable) and sampled a couple of the “Freezy Pops” for which Ducks is famous. Apparently they’re kinda difficult to get right, because if you include too much alcohol in them they refuse to set, so the chef at Ducks recommends no more than 1/2 oz per pop.
VODKA POP: Mix 3 cups juice of choice for every 2 oz vodka (try flavored vodkas for best results) and freeze in popsicle molds (any small cups work fine). You can also add chunks of fresh fruit (a la FrozFruit bars) for extra pizzazz. When mixture has begun to harden, insert wooden popsicle sticks so you can enjoy them on-the-go.
