    Oh man, that is so awesome! I’m so excited for you! I hope you enjoy the pregnancy, and all its ups and downs. Your life is going to so dramatically change and it is going to be so awesome! I know we don’t ‘know’ each other- but since you’ve read the baby blog you ‘know’ my journey and I’m so happy to share anything else with you if you have questions, etc. Gosh, it is so awesome- not that I want to be preggers again right now- but I loved it and I hope you do too!!!!!

    Congrats! Your blog was the one I loved to read when I was at home more with my baby during the newborn stage. Im sure you have a ton of NYC mommy pals but if you ever want any fun baby/kids places on the UES I have a ton. We live up here and I am a stay at home mom so I have tried them all….lol! :)

    actually…i have none. i only have one friend and one relative who have had babies, and neither of them live in the U.S. i’ve literally never held an infant, and have only been around babies and children occasionally. so any advice – esp UES advice – would be INCREDIBLY welcome!! could i email you?

    i’m actually feeling great – thank you! no morning sickness (whew) – i was just realllly tired the last few weeks. and my skin is being grumpy. but that’s it!

    Congratulations! I had my son two Thursdays ago and it’s the most surreal thing I’ve gone through in my life. Being pregnant was like being a walking science experiment and motherhood (though just begun) is a really complex roller coaster ride/maze. NYC has an amazing birth community. If you want to take classes, I recommend Tribeca Parenting, Choices in Childbirth, and Birth Day Presence as three awesome resources. Feel free to contact me with questions. I know a great prenatal chiropractor, too. I love to talk about pregnancy and birth — and must have read 30+ books while thinking about getting and being pregnant.

    Congrats! I have been following your blog for a while and am soooo happy for you. It’s funny bc when I saw your video/announcement I just couldn’t help but be sooo soo hapy for you even though I don’t know you. I am a stay at home mom to 3 year old twins and a 11 month old baby, so during nap time it’s nice to live vicariously through your blog and see what fun times you have. I wish you luck and so much happiness during this time. Your life will never be the same (a good thing). Take advantage of this time before the baby, visit all the fun restaurants (bc dining with kids is not fun), cuddle with your dogs (I have 2 chi chi’s and sadly they’ve taken a back seat) and really really soak it all in. Take the love you feel for your husband, your dogs and your parents and times it by a million, that’s how you’ll feel the instant you hold your child. It’s amazing. Again, congrats! Btw…you will have such a gorgeous baby!!

    i do feel sort of like a walking science experiment already – it’s so bizarre how quickly things change. like the sharp pain on the left side of my lower back: what is up with that? and what is happening to make me break out on the bridge of my nose, of all places? and my nails. they are awesome for the first time in my entire life.
