Ha! My nails were awesome, too, then broke for a while, then went back to awesome. Enjoy!

the dog issue is something i’m pretty worried about – i hear from everyone that they do end up taking a bit of a backseat for awhile, and i feel terrible about that. i’ve been doing research on ways to ease the transition…does anyone know if the “bring the blanket home from the hospital early so they can smell it” thing works?
also: “take the love you feel for your husband, your dogs and your parents and times it by a million”…i can’t imagine. can’t wait.
(also…thank you!!!)

I don’t know about bringing the blanket home, since I had a homebirth, BUT I bought a pheromone collar for my cat and it seemed to calm him down a lot. He is a little wigged out by the baby, but not threatening towards it. I bet they make those collars for dogs, too.

Holy, I missed a couple days since we’ve been traveling and came to catch up! Congratulations! I instantly flashed back to our conversation in Cancun about babies “one day” which lead to talk of our awesome canadian health care LOL anyhow, can’t wait to see your little bump grow.
