Is This The Weirdest Product Ever?

I’ll answer that one for you:

Yes.

It’s so weird.

In a nutshell, Talika Eyebrow Extender is a transparent gel filled with hair-like fibers that you paint onto your eyebrows to make them look thicker and fuller. Really.

It’s hairy gel.

So it’s sort of gross. But also sort of neat, I suppose, for those of you who have a thing for Brooke Shields-type eyebrows. I personally give my eyebrows zero thought; the things occur to me only when a makeup artist working on me starts in on them and, aghast, says, “When was the last time you plucked your eyebrows?!” (Never.) “You never pluck your eyebrows?!” (No.) “They’re so pale! You wear eyebrow pencil at least, right?” (Still no; until they miraculously transform into Angelina Jolie’s I don’t care about them; never will.)

But you want to hear the weirdest part?

I thought I’d test the stuff out partially to see if it might be of interest to any of you and mostly because damn, it’s weird…and it sorta looks to me like it works.

Judge for yourself:

Again, not something I’d ever take the time to apply in the mornings because of aforementioned not-caring-ness…but if you’re into this sort of thing, you might want to give it a shot.

And now I have to walk around all day with fake eyebrow hairs attached to my face. See how much I love you?
