Eye Shadow Of Choice

When I’m looking to splurge on an eyeshadow, yeah. For everyday and for travel I’ll often use an inexpensive (drugstore) trio of neutral shades, but if I want a richer, more textured look or a really special shade for a big night out (try Outremer as a liquid liner), it doesn’t get much better than NARS.

A great shade to try to test out the line for yourself: Ondine, a pinky-brown with a little shimmer that looks great on everyone, and in every season.

I have a hard time with eye shadows because I’ve got dark circles under my eyes. What is a good undereye concealer? Or is there something else you can recommend?

i don’t know a ton about dark circles – my problem is puffiness – but YSL’s touche eclat is the best undereye concealer i’ve found. it contains light-reflecting particles, goes on smoothly, and doesn’t cake up in creases. if you want something with a little more coverage, try laura mercier.

I absolutly love Erase Paste by Benefit.  I have one at home and keep one at the office for mid-afternoon touch ups when my eyes are looking tired.  It completely eradicates any darkness and brightens the under eye area.

Hi Jordan’s mom :) Thanks for the recommendation!! I’m so bad at the make up thing, but I’m working on it!

I have several NARS shadows, ONDINE being one of them (And, yes it would look great on most folks!) I recently rediscovered why I absolutely love NARS cosmetics.
