i’m really curious about that mascara. i’m constantly in search of the perfect mascara for my sad, short and decidedly red eyelashes (yep. i’m a ginger). i’m usually game for trying anything but they’re real is pretty pricey for mascara – do you think its substantially better than $6-7 mascara?  some reviews say it is clumpy/hard to put on before it dries, has that been your experience? (sorry for this mundane comment that is by far the longest thing i’ve ever written on make-up)

i’ve heard some negative reviews too, but i really like it (my mom is a big fan as well). it does dry out in the tube faster than i’d like, but if you layer it on the effect is really dramatic. the formula of, say, maybelline great lash is great (doesn’t dry out, stays a long time) but the look isn’t as extreme as I personally prefer.

thanks so much for getting back to me. i really appreciate it. i ordered today and am looking forward to trying it (like i said, i’m kind of obsessed with mascara). thanks again! good luck on the move – i strongly believe that moving is one of the toughest/hardest/worst things in the world (says the girl who has made major moves every 2-3 years for the past ten years). all best!

you’re welcome! you might also want to try lancom definicils – i love that one as well, and it creates a longer, more defined lash.
