First Birthday Coming Up!

This is me at exactly 1 year old, enjoying my first chocolate cake and expressing some very strong opinions on the subject.

On a related note, Indy’s Birthday Number One is on the way (I can’t believe it, either).

We’re keeping the celebration extremely small and low-key (the invites are just because a) I couldn’t help myself, and b) there’s a whole page in the baby book that says “My Invitation Was So Festive!”, which put on the pressure), but still: I’m so excited. Definitely more excited than he is.

But that’s just because he hasn’t tasted chocolate cake yet.

You just wait, kid.

    i can’t believe he’s going to be 1! is indy going to get his own ‘smash cake?’

    ps reading that book and trying not to laugh too hard- dont want to be effing up those stitches and all.
