Top London To-Dos

Q. Hello Jordan.

I have been meaning to e-mail you a thank you for all the great recommendations for our girls NYC weekend…I am visiting my friend in London on Wednesday so if you have any recommendations for places to see, eat, shop, please forward!

Very Warmly,
K from Chi-town

A. I’m so thrilled you had a good time in NY!!

I’m also excited that you’re going to London! Alas, last time I went was in the fall of 2009 (that’s me in Hyde Park, above), so hopefully my recommendations are still current.

Some of my favorite to-dos:

Eat game pie (partridge, rabbit & duck) at The Prince Bonaparte
Get high tea at The Wolseley
Go to Brick Lane and Camden Market for vintage shopping
Eat brunch at The Electric Brasserie in Portobello Market
Drink fancy cocktails at The Botanist in Chelsea (you can stay for dinner, too, but the food’s really expensive)
Head over to Borough Market for lunch (go very hungry and definitely get a pork belly and applesauce butty)

(Click here for all my London posts.)

That said, the first two times I went to London were nearly ten years ago, and on the latter trip I spent much of my time getting lost, so if anyone else has recommendations, feel free to chime in.

x
J
