Winifred Grace Press Preview

Jewelry isn’t something I own a ton of, or am particularly fussy about: I just like what I like. My jewelry box was stolen a few years back (when I was living in West Hollywood), and pretty much everything “nice” I owned (mostly family hand-me-downs) was in it, so since then I’ve been sort of gradually amassing a mini collection of vintage pieces mixed with affordable stuff that won’t leave me devastated if it ends up in a pawn shop on Melrose. Sure, I’ll wander through the jewelry department at Barney’s and get fluttery over the high-end pieces, but I’m just not particularly interested in spending a ton of money on something that’s so…well, easy to lose. If you’re me.

Which is all to say that I was happy to discover that the Winifred Grace Spring 2011 Collection, which I checked out during yesterday’s press preview, is a) my style, and b) on the affordable side, especially for designer jewelry. Her pieces incorporate strong detailing and rough, textural elements like linen and leather, and are right up my alley for everyday wear.

See? Love these cuffs; would wear them lots.
