I have a thing for quilts, but I do not have a thing for how pricey they often are. Hand-stitched is lovely and all, but sometimes you want to mix up your bedding a bit…and you can’t really do that when the things are $300 a pop. American Living’s quilts are in the ballpark of $100 for a queen-size…and are on closeout right this very moment. I like the Blue Point Quilt at left, but there are lots of other styles, and I think it’d actually look nice to do some mixing and matching with the shams and Euro pillows if you’re working a country vintage look in your bedroom.
P.S. If you should be so lucky to have a guest bedroom, inexpensive quilts are a great decor option.
