Reader Ellen, who shares my love of peonies, just sent me this photo of the centerpieces at her recent wedding. I love the idea of incorporating fruit in a complimentary color; how amazing do those limes look? (I also had green vibernum – the flowers that look a bit like broccoli – in my bouquet, and I think the bloom makes a beautiful – and unexpected – statement.)
