LOOK. AT THESE. EASTER BUNNIES.
I can’t even stand it.
Spring has officially sprung out here in California – it was eighty degrees all last week, and the park near our house has blossomed into a sort of Hills Are Alive fantasyland (hence me in gingham, because I love few things more than a good theme). And what that means is that…well, it means that I sneeze every thirty seconds. But it also means that the very best way I can think to spend an afternoon is wandering around in the grass and practicing our Easter Egg-hunting skills for the big event.
And please don’t get me started on the clothing here – all from H&M’s spring line. First of all, I don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden, all I need to do is clothe my son in something other than sweatpants, and he’s basically ready to move into his first apartment. (I’m kidding. He’s never allowed to move out. Ever.) That jacket, BTW, has a little sewn-in handkerchief for extra adorableness points (and the jeans have suspenders, which is too much cuteness for any reasonable person to handle).
On my daughter is a tutu skirt, which wasn’t really an optional thing for her to own (in her opinion, which was expressed extremely loudly upon laying eyes on said tutu) – and a butterfly dress that does that adorable thing where it fluffs out around her when she crouches down to pick a dandelion. It’s so sweet that you practically expect to see little cartoon birds landing on her shoulders.
The whole kids’ occasion-wear line is so cute that I have to give you a few more suggestions in addition to what you see pictured here (some of these pieces were online exclusives which is why they’re not in these pictures despite the fact that I LOVE them – but you can find them online now, and I couldn’t help scrolling through the entire website to find my absolute favorite picks for your own Easter bunnies).
For Boys:
- This Light Blue Sport Jacket (a more casual version of the style my son is wearing here)
- These super-cool sneakers;
- And this suit vest (worn over a t-shirt, of course).
For Girls:
- This Floral Headband, which would obviously come off in ten seconds, but that’s ten seconds during which you can take an Easter photogram, am I right?;
- This simple Striped Dress (with a cutout, bow-accented back);
- And my absolute favorite…this matching tweed blazer and shorts set. EEEEEE.
