Early-evening beer, cheese & charcuterie tasting at Melissa’s gorgeous new apartment.
The beers we sampled:
– Left Hand Sawtooth Ale (strong, bitter, honeyed)
– Dogfish Head Raison d’Etre (fruity, full-bodied, caramel undertones)
– Dogfish Head 60 Minute India Pale Ale (piney, refreshing, light fruitiness)
I’m not a big fan of craft beers, strangely enough – basically, the cheaper and lighter the beer, the more likely I am to enjoy it; that’s just how my tastebuds seem to work – but every so often it’s nice to slowly sip one or two with a selection of strongly-flavored meats and cheeses.
