All I want for Christmas: this, basically.
Seriously, this is what I would like to wear every day right around now: a perfect white tee (this particular one is light-as-air and slouchy and great), a cozy grey button-down cardigan with a bit of a I-borrowed-this-from-my-boyfriend vibe, distressed skinny jeans, and what might just be the best parka ever (faux fur + navy + a just-right length…and a just-right price).
I would also take the smushy-faced puppy, but that’s another story.
On Black Friday, Hollister Co. is offering some seriously epic deals: the doors open at 8P.M. at most stores around the country, and they’ll have everything you need to check off your own holiday list: super soft sweaters, leggings, flannels, pajamas, sweatshirts, and wintry accessories for guys and girls. My plan is to hit up the one in Ohio (where we’ll be for Thanksgiving) to stock up on some cozy pieces to stay warm in the snow and finish off my own holiday shopping list.
Deserving of extra-special mention: Hollister’s very excellent plaid flannels that are perfect for layering under sweaters or over henleys, or for just tying around your waist (you know how I feel about the My So-Called Life look). Oh yes, and Black Friday will also involve cute Hollister lifeguards wandering around the stores, and something called a Black Friday Beach Party Whistle (you can unlock it by downloading the Hollister app). Which sounds fun.
