As promised, some shots of my freshly painted living room (that’s Valspar’s Warm Summer)…now with furniture! (Click here to see what the living room looked like in its original incarnation.)
The actual “After”…after the jump.
It’s pretty much all the same stuff you remember from our old apartment…but in a bigger room.
A room that permits us to have two side chairs plus a bouncy seat in it…as opposed to what we had before, which was two chairs downgraded to one when we had a baby, and then downgraded to none once that baby grew large enough to require things like floor space and room to turn around.
Anyway, I love it. One day, I’d like to swap out the dark brown couch for a dove gray one and lighten up the rest of the furniture, adding in some rustic pastels for a sort of Reese-Witherspoon-In-Ojai effect, but for now, it feels cozy, warm…like home.
The best part of the room: the fact that it has three windows. All that light!
