I obviously can't get Keratin at the moment (that's a shot from a rainy and ordinarily majorly frizz-inducing day a couple of months after my first treatment, hence the remarkably smooth hair and alcoholic beverage)...but that doesn't mean that you can't!
A couple of weeks ago I got a phone call from the Post, asking if they could interview me about Keratin. I was extremely concerned, because I had been under the impression that the treatment that I get is - at least as far as we know - safe, and the last thing I want is to be praising a treatment that has the potential to cause serious side effects both for consumers and for salon technicians...
I've said it before, I'll say it again: there is no better beauty splurge out there for those of us with problematic locks.
Last week, I headed over to the John Sahag Workshop to for a Keratin treatment courtesy of magician Doug Macintosh. In this video, Doug explains the benefits of Keratin, walks me through the process, and answers some commonly asked questions about the treatment.

What Is It? Basically Instagram, but with 6-second looping videos (similar to GIFs, but a total no-brainer to create) instead of photos. You can create and share videos in seconds, as well as "like" and comment on your friends' creations.
