After seeking shelter in Avenue for a bit, we finally hailed a cab (Matt was the hero of the hour). The ride home was…horrifying. We very nearly got in three separate collisions – cars were literally sliding all over the roads, and the whole “lanes” concept had gone completely out the window.

We recuperated with some spicy buffalo wing pizza, and said our good-nights around 1AM.
