Before the opera, Jeff and Melissa took us to a spectacular dinner at the Grand Tier Restaurant (located right in the Metropolitan Opera House). Recommended: the lobster appetizer (served cold, in the shell), the perfectly cooked salmon, and the pannacotta with grapefruit (that was Melissa’s dessert, which I quickly appropriated). My dessert was the Valrhona Chocolate Cube filled with caramel, pictured above, which was a little fudgy for my taste. 

I also included a picture of Melissa’s Miu Miu shoes, because I wanted to eat those, as well.
