OK, so bear with me, now: this is an experiment I’m trying out, to see if the format works. I’m calling this little webcast “Domestic Bliss with Jordan Reid,” and it’s essentially an extension of my Lifecast, with the addition of experts who help me – and, hopefully, you – learn a little bit about how to live differently. In this segment, I find an old lamp on the street outside my apartment and refurbish it with the help of Stephen (yup, my downstairs neighbor and one of my best friends) from Cavern Home. I’m THRILLED with how the lamp came out – I have trouble finding furniture that suits my tastes, and it’s really exciting to discover the possibilities of a little paint.
Obviously there’s zero budget – I’m doing this all on my own, with my old Canon – and there are many things that need work. And this is clearly my first time ever attempting to edit anything…so…I promise I’ll get better at that.
That’s where you come in. I’ll be posting one of these a week (hopefully), and I’d really love to know what you like, what you don’t like, and what suggestions you have for the future.
