Saturday morning, I went to the Union Square Farmers’ Market in search of the best seasonal produce. At the Cherry Lane Farm stand, I found some unbelievable green tomatoes, and since the day quickly turned rainy and miserable I figured it was a perfect opportunity to try my hand at making fried green tomatoes for the very first time.
(I’m wearing Kendrick’s old shirt and pajama pants in this video. It was raining outside, and to me rainy afternoon + warm apartment = plaid PJs. And yeah, I know: my forehead is cut off in half the video. I think it’s a widescreen conversion issue…remember, I’m new at this video editing stuff.)
