I think it’s fair to say that 2012 brought a lot of introspecting around these parts.

{ Made a seriously big decision… }
{ Thought we found a home… }
{ And then found out we were wrong and just about gave up… }
{ Discovered that things often do turn out for the best… }
{ Wrote to a reader about some enormous life questions and shared struggles… }
{ Talked baby insecurity and why you’re just fine… }
{ Revealed a decision I’d do differently… }
{ Had flashbacks about a dress that wasn’t just a dress… }
{ Realized that it’s not about a bralet… }
{ Thought back on the way things were… }
{ Decided to stop panicking and relax into the moment for a freaking minute… }
{ And settled into the knowledge that more than anything, this moment is right where I want to be. }
So that was 2012 for me. It’s been an amazing year, made even more so by the fact that I’ve gotten to know so many of you so intimately. Thank you so much for all your emails, comments, questions, support, and unwavering honesty. I feel so lucky to have this community in my life, and can’t wait to see what 2013 brings.
