Style

Monday / On Set

I spent yesterday in our Connecticut studio kitchen filming a series of baking segments (recipes/segments to come, of course). I usually handle my own wardrobe, because I’m picky about fit (aren’t we all?) and…well…I like what I like, and so I was pretty psyched to find tops for all five segments for under $100 ($85, to be exact) at Old Navy. Happy clients = happy me. My favorite of the bunch was that blue henley pictured above, which I couldn’t find online but is very similar to this one.

While poking about in the store on Black Friday (swell idea, I know), I found a few items that, while not quite right for these segments, would make excellent gift choices for just about anyone (well, anyone female):

Fair Isle Tie-Belt Wrap Cardigan ($35; an equally pretty but solid-colored style is here); Women’s Printed Flannel Lounge Pants ($12); Logo Pullover ($15; while I don’t usually like logo-ed stuff, the fit and weight of this pullover are just perfect).
