Reader Question from Reader E.
Q. I think I am bored. My brain feels mushy, my creativity stifled, and I am just tired--and 28 is too young to feel this way. I try not to let it affect me too much, but sometimes it is hard. The sad thing is, I don't know what else I want to do, and the longer I stay, the more afraid I am to try something else...
A. This email sounds exactly like one I might have written less than a year ago; trust me, I hear you. When I first moved to NY, I was working as the manager of a law firm while I auditioned for roles, but then slowly stopped acting...and had NO IDEA what I wanted to do. None. I knew I didn't want to do what I was doing (oh my god, did I hate it), but when I rifled through MediaBistro (or wherever) I still couldn't find any career path that felt quite...right...

READER GIVEAWAY: THREE SEEDS NATURALS LIP BALM.
Hello, new obsession. I've written before about my fixation on lip emollients (when your lips are the size of mine, chappiness is no joke), and a couple of months ago I received a sample of ThreeSeedsNaturals Vanilla Peppermint balm in the mail. While in Aspen, I discovered the stuff meandering about in the bottom of my makeup bag...and lucky that I did, because it singlehandedly saved my delicate bouche during some seriously frosty days (holla, double entendre).

You can have it!
Love this.
I love this song, and I know each and every word in it, having sung it over a megaphone many, many times during my Hogs 'n' Heifers days.
Other good things.
Some more things that I came home to that made me very, very happy: the arrival of the custom Vans I designed for Kendrick, Chinese food (the much-debated "tiny juicy pork buns" are in the foreground), and a DVR-ed Tyra.
Hmm…
OK, I have officially entered another dimension. I arrived home to find a sparklingly clean apartment, two just-bathed-and-walked dogs...and freshly baked (Pillsbury, but STILL) chocolate chip cookies sitting atop the oven.
Reader Question!
Don't forget to send your reader questions to jordan@ramshackleglam by midnight tonight!

Sigh.
After a delicious breakfast of croissants, fresh fruit, and yes, a wee bit of champagne...I'm outta here. Can I object?
Yuca Inn
The Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe, where we're staying, is lovely, but if it's out of your budget range there are tons of more affordable options in the area. Yesterday, while wandering through town, Marianne and I stumbled across the absolutely charming Yuca Inn Hostel.
