This afternoon, Meghan invited me to come with her to Talbots to sample the wares. They’re doing some blogger outreach, and honestly: I was impressed. I’ve never been to the store before, and I was pleasantly surprised to find some pieces that I will wear constantly in the coming months. I particularly love the camel sweater and the plaid scarf, which are totally non-scratchy and just bulky enough to be cozy, and I think the cape that Meghan and I both tried on (in different colors) is unusually appealing because it’s not heavy and asphyxiating like many cape-type garments can be.
I so loved getting to spend some one-on-one time with Meghan – she continues to impress me as a genuinely beautiful soul. It’s pretty cool when you get to work with people you like so much.
