At Krystal’s bday party on the roof of the Olivia. A truly unforgettable evening…I had so much fun introducing my husband to the new women in my life. He thinks they’re as remarkable as I do. Getting Julia to drink three (!) glasses of wine was the highlight of the evening – the girl acts drunk when she’s completely sober, so you can imagine the hilarity that ensued.
P.S. I LOVE my new shoes, and I especially love that they’re from Bakers and cost less than $100. They’re going to be glued to my feet for fall.
P.P.S. I would also like to note that this bolero was part of my prom outfit freshman year of high school. My boyfriend, who lived several states away, invited me to his senior prom (wooo!) and much to my mother’s chagrin I decided to wear a vintage nightgown with this beaded bolero over it. I felt seriously hot, but the night was ruined by the fact that my boyfriend got elected Prom King and ended up dumping me for the Queen, with whom he spent the rest of the night while I literally sat alone in a corner. The one good thing to come from that relationship was this bolero, which still works 14 (eek) years later.
Vintage bolero and dress, Bakers shoes, Forever 21 cuff, MOMA and Cartier necklaces.
